Baan Sabaay under construction

Baan Sabaay is undergoing a huge renovation and will transform into a place where the residents can grow along with all the changes that are taking place. Through the generous funding by the Church of Scotland we are able to establish income generating projects by utilizing some of the resources we already have. We have started growing mushrooms in this little area shown in the picture on the left. We intend to sell these mushrooms as well as keep some for our own food supply.
More chickens have made their way here to provide eggs.
There is a big expanse of land that Baan Sabaay is using to plant all kinds of fruit trees. Once the fruit starts producing the staff will sell at the market and will bring in an income as well as providing food for the residents of Baan Sabaay
There is also a large basin for a fish farm as you can see in the picture.
Near the fish farm will be a frog farm that will again be sold at the market and generating income for Baan Sabaay.
There is still a lot more work to be done and it will take time before we see any results. We look forward to the self sufficiency in our future.
Please pray for us as we continue on this big endevour.
